For over 50 years, Child & Migrant Services (CMS) has been dedicated to the following mission and goals and will continue to do so in the future.

Mission Statement

To provide and coordinate community services for migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families in Mesa County--so that they may live and work with dignity in our community.

Organization goals and objectives

  1. Farm workers will atain their most basic needs during their stay in America (that includes food, clothing, medical care and housing);
  2. Farm workers will have opportunities for educational and social activities;
  3. Farm workers will have access to bilingual assistance;
  4. Farm workers will have greater access to mental health services, receive education and emotional support for their well being;
  5. Farm workers will receive financial and emotional support in case of emergency; and
  6. Farm workers will have greater possibility of attaining quality housing.
