English as a Second Language Classes (ESL)
CMS provides ESL classes twice a week year round on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. An additional class is held on Wednesday between February and August. Childcare is provided during the classes between September and April. Individual cross-cultural language learning opportunities are also available.
Other Educational Activities
GED and Citizenship instruction is available as needed. Educational workshops on variety topics are provided regularly.
Social Functions
CMS hosts two major social functions every year-Christmas Celebration and End of the Harvest Season Celebration in August. Throughout the year, workers and CMS staff plan a number of other functions. Some of the functions include Valentine's Party, Mother's Day celebration, fieldtrips, and movie nights. Workers and families are welcome to watch TV (with Spanish Channels), movies, play ping pong, foosball, and card games at the Hospitality Center.

"I like getting to know the people at the Center. English classes are helpful for my career. Sometimes I'm very tired from work, but I feel better when I come here. I appreciate the help of the people from the Center-they help us to accomplish all of this. Because the people who come here for the first time, we're completely disoriented.
